Marian Pilgrimage - Our Lady of the Four Tapers at St Albans

The itinerary now returns to the south east and a visit to the Benedictine abbey, now cathedral, of St Albans.

The great church at St Albans is deservedly still a focus for pilgrims not only of the strictly devotional variety but in the wider sense of those motivated by a sense of history and fascination with all things medieval. A wonderful and intensely moving building.

The story of this particular shrine and its moves and restoration can be seen in the links in my article about it from last year at
May Our Lady of the Four Tapers pray for The King and all the Royal Family and for us all
