The BBC News website has an interesting article about a married couple who have consciously restored their Northumberland farm to its layout and agriculture as recorded in an 1805 survey. This process has been hugely beneficial to for the natural wildlife of the area, as well as proving commercially viable. This does appear to be a very good example of living in harmony with nature, and being environmentally sustainable.
