Peter Hitchens on life under lockdown

A friend has just sent me the link to an excellent article by the splendid Peter Hitchens  in the latest “First Things”. It is about our current situation of social distancing and self isolation, and the constraints to maintain the new status quo.

I have thought for a long time that he is about the one commentator in our media who really speaks sense. I do not agree with everything he says, but when I met him some months ago and I made that point we agreed that that made life more interesting.
