St Oswald of Northumbria, King and Martyr

Today is the feast day of St Oswald King of Northumbria. It provides me with an opportunity to give the links to previous posts I have written about him and his cult.

They can be seen at Peterborough - which deals particularly with the relic of his holy arm once preserved at the abbey (now the cathedral) there - and at St Oswald and St Oswald King and Martyr.

May St Oswald continue to pray for all who invoke his aid.
